Well, if you are eager to record sound from internal or external devices, this is a GREAT tool.
Perfect solution for those who like to capture an online radio channel while listening to a song.
Can even automatically add song album covers and other song tags like artist and song name, once you have recorded the music sound, as well as export the recorded tracks to iTunes.
So, if you are a Music lover, forget the current misleading GAOTD low rating and enjoy it at its full extent!!

Sadly this uses old Tee driver technology and does not hook into the playback and record chain transparently like a couple of programs offered here in the past. That means it cannot record from sources already playing as the default output has to changed to the leawo Tee driver AND the program has to be running inorder to allow you to hear anything being played/recorded. all this extra processing adds visibly noticable latency to the audio causing annoying lip-sync errors in watched video.
A bug I noticed is the context menu entry on recorded items entry for "Show in Folder" uses the incorrect location and does not open explorer with the chosen recording selected, instead it just opens explorer window with the users profile root with the Documents folder selected but not opened and no sign of the recorded files in there!
To find them I'd have to use some diagnostic tools to see what file it access when playing the recorded files...
Also for some odd reason it auto fileed the tag data with non-sensical data completely unrelated to the audio source program being played... very disapointing.
This feels like an alpha or private beta release that is yet to be seriously tested.
I suggest leawo go back to the drawing board and forget Tee-drivers and hook into the API directly and intercept both inputs and outputa directly regardless of default playback device settings. Doing such allows simultanious multi-channel capture from different devices witout having to interupt the audio streams to insert a Tee-driver!
good try but needs more thought and testing before calling it a relase version 1.0
What a refreshing change the giveaway headline is. It describes the software as decent, instead of the best, then carefully states that it will try and record all it can capture, IE no promises that it actually will do the job. More like this please.
if your sound stops working, simply right-click your speaker taskbar icon and select playback devices and make sure your physical card is still default. works great, but when i installed, it changed the default to the emulated sound card it uses to record from. the developers may want to change that.
