Installed easily, like Karl always says. Text to speech with only 1 voice is a total waste of time for a program like this. Your average navigator has many more voices. Even a MDC ( mobile Data Centre) for working in a large warehouse has a better text to speech than this silly little program. NTY uninstalled via reboot.

Apex Text to Speech software supports all voices installed in your computer. If you want more voices then go with search engine (Google, etc) to find more voices to install.

As far as I remember there is free Balabolka (10.1 MB, portable?) from a Russian author to be used with free and higher quality costly speech engines. With windows there comes perhaps an engine in your own language.

Be careful as download sources like softonic, cnet etc. want to use their own downloader and so install unwanted "goodies" like taskbars.
I got it from some computer magazine's cover DVD.
Nearly blind people can obtain professional solutions via their organizations.
As far as I know with free Knoppix Linux live-CD/DVD you can choose speech output, too. Meant for people with limited sight.

Sorry ApexSofts but your software really doesn't even measure up to the freeware software Balabolka. their reading of the text is smoother more life-like where your software tends to stutter.
I think Balabolka is the better deal.

It might be worth mentioning that Adobe Acrobat does this natively for pdfs (View > Read Out Loud).
