Thanks Wonderfox and GOTD.
Installed and activated.
Tested with a sample video that needs rotation and conversion from MOV to MP4.
Result: Excellent.
Simple easy to use.
Very fast conversion.
Ability to do rotation of video. Not many video conversion software has this feature.
Why do you need this feature?
Because we use compact cameras that we turn vertically to capture video of a subject.
When you transfer the video to the PC, you notice the whole video is sideways.
If you have only some parts of your video sideways, this software can let you select only the relevant parts that need rotation.

This software seems to be OK, but I use a dedicated video downloader which has also a video converter:

It'd help other GOTDers if you checked before publicising other software: this Wonderfox converter has "a built-in smart web video downloader . . . With only a few clicks, you can easily download online video files and then transfer to any of your portable devices. 1. Download online video from YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Liveleak, Metacafe and other popular online video sources. 2. Enable to choose and download high-definition video source from YouTube. 3. Enable to download 10 online video at the same time":

Today's Wonderfox latest-version giveaway is clearly going to be of relevance to those concerned about the way "old" converters (from any developer) may not be able to deal with ever-changing DRM initiatives -- which kind of makes a nonsense of post #1, unless the writer means that he has meticulously updated the program every few months during his years of usage so as to contend with frequent DRM revisions.
Interesting to see another converter today. Will up-voting for Wonderfox manage to exceed GOTD 2014's record 1,166 thumbs up for Tipard Studio on December 8 last . . . or does Wonderfox have more sense? Hope so.
Thanks then, GOTD, and thanks, Wonderfox. Today's giveaway is an excellent adjunct to my own freeware favorite from videotovideo.org, software which by virtue of its country of origin has to be much more reticent than Wonderfox where the contentious topic of DRM is concerned.

I really want to SEE a MENU (Words) across the top of the dialogue window (The same as ALL the other Window programs. I gave the program a "thumbs up" because it did what I wanted it to do - BUT - it was "hunt & peck" until I was finished. We older "dogs" usually have the money to spend on extraneus software, but, I don't spend mine on something I have to "re-learn" at 60+ I have lived, worked-in, & help developed almost every version of DOS, Windows, Apple, Mac (a computer geek/nerd/tech) & I am NOT going to ?guess? at what every picture means. Even if it is an "add-on" (meaning - it does not have to be visible for younger "Metro" users) but, under-neath one of those menus - WHY NOT put an option for a Menu bar in WORDS - Just have a look at 99% of all Windows software. If you use the a-typical menu - Old farts like me might be able to understand, use & BUY your software, and it might be worth the $60 you're asking. Thank you for your version today & I hope (through my rant) my suggestion(s) helps, & thank you GOTD everyday.

Just a quick word of advice.
This must be installed "as administrator", otherwise you end up with a dog's breakfast: it appears that you get a simple "installation failed" message, but what actually happens is it gets installed into one of your user\appdata folders. Before then trying again "as administrator", you have to waste time manually removing it (since uninstallers like revo don't work, as they don't recognise it as an installation).
(All Wonderfox products behave this way, as I learnt the hard way.)
