Come on guys... I read your comments to find out your opinion of the software. I do NOT read your comments to keep seeing ACTIVATION INSTRUCTIONS repeated Over and Over.
Get a GRIP people and simply read the instructions. Stop wasting everybody's time asking the SAME question; "How do I ACTIVATE... yada, yada?".

Can anybody help me, I try since a long time, to install giveawayoftheday tools with GCD images. I have no idea, how I can do this and I tried it in many different manner. No chance! The manuel in the readme file didn't help me too.
Can anybody give me instructions which I understand also :) Sorry if I'm the only one who is to silly, but...

Silvio, The advice about using 7-zip is a good one and most efficient if you are doing things right. The beauty of 7-zip is the feature that allows you to extract (unzip) to a chosen location. GAOTD downloads are zipped and will download to a folder that you choose, -- if like me, to my browser Downloads folder.
The important thing here is to correctly open GAOTD apps, they must be unzipped into the same folder as the downloaded zip file. Rather than extract into my browser Downloads folder, I make a folder for that app under a GAOTD Downloads folder in my documents directory. Then I drag the zipped GAOTD app into that folder, right click it, and using 7-zip choose "extract here". Now, since it is all in one folder you can use readme, and run setup. (you could have the GAOTD zip downloaded to a created folder for that app, but then you would have to be changing browser download locations everytime you DL any file.) it is easiest to drag/drop.
Any problems from there on will most likely be due to your antivirus app which may need to be disabled for long enough for installation, then reactivated. GAOTD downloads are safe so doing that is ok as long as you re-enble that AV after installation. (from decades of experience). On rare occasion you may also need to right-clck on the setup file to unblock it under "properties" requiring just an obvious click.
Using 7-zip gives you that "extract here " feature that simplifies the whole process for me, and I have not had a problem installing GAOTD zips for decades.
Hadrianus, If his OS is not win 10, there is no auto unzip. I use 7-ZIP, many unsigned or not registered zipped files are rejected by win 10 and you can not tell win 10 where and how to unzipped them.
I can't find where to register it. Help, please?
Tad, the readme file clearly tells you how to register. In case you missed it, which you obviously did .... Run the program, press Upgrade to Pro at the window top => Input key and
use the provided key and ANY name twice to register the program .... Couldn't be simpler.
I downloaded the archive and successfully extracted the files. However, it installed software informer rather than WinExt Pro. It definitely did not install this anywhere on my system.

All the software from Giveawayoftheday that use setup.gcd file to validate the installation causes an app crash in my computer. Below are listed the information about the problem.

I did the download of WinExt setup file from the site of Trisunsoft and the program is perfectly installed. Besides that, I don't have a problem whit the installation of any other software. So, it seems its clear that the problem is the setup.gcd file.
Time ago the installations from Giveawayoftheday site worked fine, I think that a change was made in setup.gcd file that is causing that crash.
It would be very appreciable if the technical persons in Giveawayoftheday examine and solve the problem.
