This would have been a great piece of software especially for photographers and graphic artists such as myself but it would have been nice without the Trojan warning I got during download.

Nice program! Installed fine on Vista Home Premium 32 with SP2. During registration the progress bar stalled for an unusually long time, (1+ min) so if that happens just wait it out. It worked anyway.
The program was simple and easy to use. I don't use this type of program very often, and as such needed something simple with no complicated steps to remember. This looks like the one. It includes a "Template Editor" so you can create your own custom watermarks and save them. Thanks, GOTD.

Avast-users will get a virus-alert using the 'setup.exe'.
This is a false positive due to the extra software informer.
I don't know why the moderators don't want me to tell this but I'll try again and hope best of it.
Avast-users best download the trail from the pixelapp-site and use the data from the GAotD-downloaded 'Readme.txt' file. This will work and Avast will be pleased.
Moderators are you blocking because I refer to the software home site?
Than cut that part away.

Clean install, this is a .NET app, so it's very slow to load. The program itself needs an Internet connection to register, or you can do it over the web manually. Heavily template-based, opens a separate window for editing templates which I find annoying. Doesn't have a convenient way to navigate to the template folder for saving (on Vista, it's typically in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Watermark Express\Template). Scroll thumbs don't scale. Windows can be maximized but not resized. For once, I agree with Ashraf on a number of issues. The template delete feature doesn't work, but the usual Windows methods for deleting work (just don't delete an in-use template). Personally, I wouldn't release a 1.0 version with this many UI problems, but it does watermark.
These types of watermarks are for amateurs. If you're serious, use digital watermarks (although seriously smart people can break them). A good place to start is the Digital Watermarking Alliance. Check the members, they have all sorts of interesting solutions. For the simple images case, you can use Digimarc for Images, but it's expensive.
FYI, speaking of .NET apps, even with uninstalling and reinstalling, PC Fare Meter quit recording window captions correctly on my PC a long time ago (bad coding). They've released a portable version, which is correctly recording window captions so far.
