I bought this license last year, like others have said, even with this latest update, still not really impressed. A Very over rated product, nice concept, but still missing many options even similar free programs can do. Have this latest version, but Very slow updates too compared to better free programs.
After a few tests, again Still Many bugs, and freezes, even on my newer WIN 10 16GB RAM pc. Do not have all these issues on even free programs.
Same ongoing issues like it's old program version called WINX, hangs forever, or fails to download simple videos, from either Youtube, MTV or BET.com that free downloaders can easily do.
Videproc does analyzes & loads videos ok, but downhill after that, still cannot download many online videos, Always get Failed error on mostly all tried. Nothing blocking program on my pc.
Still cannot, or no option to simply trim any audio files still, like most video programs can also do.
Still could not find any option to trim a larger videos in multiple spots , and not just 1 trim spot, so have to keep reopening file and saving.
Videoproc has very poor Video and audio Denoise option, takes out all the audio Bass, so sound Flat & terrible on files with hissing tested. Why No audio Bass on sound enhancement options.
Honestly, even though this program has good potential, it still needs many more frequent improvements to live up to all the hype.

First test I ran was promising, my GTX1060 was utilised and the output bitrate was 2182kbps. I've now just repeated the same test and my GPU is ignored and the output bitrate is 8783kbps even though I manually set it to 2500kbps. What is going on?
I find the UI of this program badly designed with settings all over the place and when I do find the setting I want it ignores it.
There's also a lack of precision in the "cut" function. It's impossible to accurately remove adverts from a tv program.
This program promises a lot but sadly doesn't deliver.

Some of these converters can use the graphics card's encoder, rather than the much more limited GPU support available with the x264 encoder included in ffmpeg. When I've seen them use a hardware encoder it was only with a few of the encoder presets, and the results were quite different from the presets using software only. I don't have Nvidia graphics so I can't test that. Otherwise VideoProc & similar try to simplify [dumb down?] the encoder settings, which may be understandable if you look at the variety of settings in something like XMediaRecode or the x264 [or ffmpeg] command line options. Because of that sometimes you can't set things as you'd prefer, and frankly sometimes the software may have a bug or glitch that gets things wrong.

You generally need a video editor for that sort of accuracy, which VideoProc is definitely not, though you may have luck with comskip or Lossless Cut. videohelp[.]com has several video editors etc. listed with links.

Noticed the "Lifetime Full License at 60% off discount".
Does that mean, that the version offered is time limited?
Cant see this info here.

Nektar, The giveaway license is just for the current version, v3.4. It says "time-limited" on the license page but I think that just means the free licence is only available for a limited time, not that it will expire at any time after you get it. The lifetime license that is being sold at a discount includes updates to all future versions.

Since most media players do not natively support MKV files, converting it to MP4 format is my primary choice. I’ve experienced many online or free MKV to MP4 converter, most of them have limits in video size. The VideoProc giveaway license absolutely solve that issues. One of my large MKV video in 1280x720 resolution takes 7.0 GB in size, while when I use VideoProc to convert it to MP4, even though in the same resolution, I only need about 2GB or smaller space. This program is very stable in the converting progress, I am very happy with it.
