On opening a fashionable dreary looking interface is presented.
As with most removal (editing?) programs of this type it is most suitable for uncomplicated images. That is images where the background is more or less homogeneous.
A test on a more complicated image produced unusable results whatever method of selection used.
It would have to be much better for me to be willing to pay $25 for such a limited functionality.

It was here offered before, but perhaps not the same version.
It looks convincing at first but when actually trying to remove objects, you will find, your clone-brush in Photoshop works way better. I do not recommend SoftOrbits Photo Editor on grounds that it is imperfect for the job it advertises. But still, give it a try and see for yourself.

Yet again, after installing today's giveawayoftheday program, activation from my paid for version of SoftOrbits Digital Photo Suite has been removed. I get the message "Activation error. The license key has been already activate." yet today's offering functions correctly.

Downloaded ok on Windows 10 64bit. Have to submit email address to get reg key.I don't like this address harvesting in principle but I'll go along with it. Typical grey on greys interface which I find is difficult to see- at least on my screen; had to adjust angle to get any sort of contrast.
Didn't think the drag and drop image was working, there's no kind of outline moved but when you move away from drop zone there it is.
Does a bit more than just removing image so is a bit of a jack of all trades which could be good, BUT as far as I can work out (though I may have missed it) there is no way to select the area that it's going to use to replace the area to be removed. For me this is a complete deal breaker as your stuck with what it deems the correct replacement pixels. This means then that it will work reasonably well on simple backgrounds but throw complexity or a pattern at it and it's lost it- and you can't help with suggested areas.
So from me thanks but no thanks; it doesn't do it for me. I'll stick to my old favourite INPAINT which I find is about the best going if you spend a little time with it

Does registering a SoftOrbits program still REMOVE registrations from other SoftOrbit programs ?

@Stewart Wallace,
Yes, sir, I'm afraid the problem DOES still exist. (See my post ... #4.)
