Sadly, one glance at this developer's web page is more than enough to drive me away: citing household names like Sony, IBM and Microsoft in some blatantly clumsy pretense to endorsement is as desperate as it gets. This developer -- which is up against some serious, Grade A commercial competition -- needs to think long and hard about who it is trying to persuade, and how, because if it can't as a producer establish trust with a prospective customer it sure as heck is never going to establish trust in what it produces. Thanks GOTD, but no thanks.

Too many question marks with this (endorsed by no-one) giveaway for me.
Reading comments on other sites like:-
"ClamAV had a 87% rate while this had a lovely 18%"
"The fact that it doesn't even catch the EICAR test downloads is a red flag to me"

I'll pass even trying this.

Well, I tried hard to trust this giveaway, really hard. I'm sort of in the market for another anti-malware product and a free "Pro" version with a years free database access seemed like a real deal. Yes, I'd never heard of this product before and yes the developers could use another year or two of English instruction (at least their spokesperson here). I can get by with both of those "issues" and have before with other software. But........ then I made the mistake of going to their website. Stock, generic photos of their "employees" abound. The poor syntax of the writing continues. Much talk but little real information about , well....... anything. When you try to download the Company Profile, from THEM mind you, it returns a 404 Error. Not once but multiple times. Then.... lol well then I went to their Contact information. The residential condos that make up "The Blue" in Miami sure look nice! But I am extremely dubious that they allow ANY commercial offices there. Much less a thriving software development company. I have to decline whoever's peddling this software's "kind offer". Thank you GOTD for trying!

The ratings from PC Magazine PC World and Computer World on rankings for software dated Dec 2015 and this software was rated ineffective in screening out malware a low 78 % Appreciate the offer GOTD but i will trust and stick with Malwarebytes Pro for 24.95 a year it removes things that most others ignore . Well worth it to me and its recognized by the PC world as reliable and trustworthy

Loaded on W10 Home x64. Works but UPDATE might not? Starts a new window, says s/w up to date, then says starting service (Service shows it running), then closes. Main window still says "Anti-Malware, Please Update 2/14"???

Changes some settings, didn't want it to start with Windows or the Real Time Scanning running during the program test. Chose a FULL SCAN and it is running. Scan Progress Information is USELESS. Says "Full System Hunter Started...", OK, but that is NOT information in my book. I know that... Can tell it is running as START SCAN changed to STOP SCAN! In the Progress box OBJECT is just a number. Means NOTHING to me. Might if I knew the total number of objects to scan? When not show in Information the object (name) being scanned already?

So far been running for 22 minutes and I have no idea how much longer this will take or where it is at in terms of what drive it is on (assuming it is done sequentially through each drive)?

1) Yes, you can select drives. Found by restarting after selecting them that it did NOT hold. Wished it did. Tried to enter a suggestion for this but it never appeared? Also shows my Card Reader slots which are empty, good, but I never really have anything in them. I'll always select the same 3 drives, so why isn't the prior selection held as a start?

2) Isn't really good enough. Rather see the file and path being scanned at this time in information. Tried to suggest that as well, never appeared.

3) Define big? I've got 1GB spread over 3 drives. Most of it is on 1 drive and that is BACKUPS with Symantec System Restore 2013 files.

Ah, just finished... over 30 minutes. No problems (which I expected as I frequently scan with other programs). Doesn't show much other than 4,877,567 objects scanned. Not much help... would like to see more status of the scan, like TIME, and maybe a breakdown of what was scanned, file count, folder count, process count, etc.

Why does it CONTINUALLY show me that I need to update with 2/14 showing which I assume is the date (Feb. 2014?) of the last update or signature file date?

Don't like the way it closes... the upper RIGHT 'X' does NOT close it. Moves it to the SYSTRAY. Not what I expected. The REAL WAY to close it is to use the EXIT on the lower right in the HELP US GROW box!!! Change that to an OPTION on what the 'X' does, exit or minimize to the Systray. Those of 'us' who like to run it manually and not have it resident all the time would like this option I think?
