I tried removing the head of the middle penguin of Penguins.jpg in Window 7 photo gallery, it did not remove it completely but turned it into what looks like a split-haired multiple colored thing. But when I try to remove all 3 penguins at the same time, head and everything, result is more satisfactory. I seems that it works well only on removing something that is in high color contrast with a homogenous background -- as in their demonstration video. This said, removing a watermark on a very heterogenous color background will most likely not work satisfactorily.
Someone in the comment above thought that this software is just to remove watermark (implying it is only to infringe on copyrighted materials). Be it known that such software has other uses -- it removes unwanted objects, etc, as part of editing picture, and not "just" to remove watermarks, as one might think.
The first was a learning experience and I left remnants of a copyright I was removing for the test. Once I became familiar with the watermark remover, it was as easy as circling the date or title or logo on the photo and clicking preview to see that it was perfect and then start and remove watermark. I did not encounter any overwrite problems because I designated a different output folder. Overall, I give the watermark remover a 10. I got 4 out of 4 perfect results on different tasks, effortlessly without a problem or disappointment. I'm sure there will be photos that will not work, but for those that do it is fast, easy and visually perfect. Less than a 5 minute learning curve.
Thanks Softorbits for a watermark remover I will use often and that will save me a lot of time and work over Photoshop!

Excellent app today....must have tool for photograph or webmasters dealing with tons of pics and images on a daily basis.

Well, to remove any watermarks in any images you can use the CLONE TOOL of FREE and Open Source Photo Editors apps like GIMP and IRFANVIEW for instance, which allows you to replace the watermark simply by replicating near areas.
