Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit system. The about does not show, that it is registered - but it works as registered (no page limit)
A Chinese company without name and address from Hongkong, founded 2012 (ggogle)
Misleading awards on their homepage. The "five star" brothersoft doesn't lead to brothersoft, the softpedia "Lighten PDF Converter 2.0.0" has not been rated and the five star findmysoft.com leads to their homepage, where a search for "lighten" does not produce a result. A search on Brothersoft shows a total of 23 (twenty three) downloads in two years and 1 (one) five star user rating. hallo lighten!
A resizable window opens, you add a .PDF, you have a preview in the right pane and you can convert it to word or text.
There is no options menu, nothing to change.
The conversion is quite fast. I tested the result on two PDF files with about one hundred pages, embedded pictures and some tables.
The result was good - as the input has been a good structured PDF file.
One of the many PDF to Word converters. I see no advantage to the others tested here. If you don't have a working converter, you can surely use this one.
Uninstalled via reboot.

Unlike virtually every other PDF-to-text converter I've tried, including previous offering here @ GAOTD, this program actually did the job of producing good text. I'll keep it, thank you...

not satisfying on my test documents: only 1 out of 6 was really usable
uninstalled at once.
While Givannis suggestion, NemoPDF failed as well, it was slightly better than todays giveaway: 2 of test documents were usable (but an additional issue was here, it needed MS Word being installed to convert to doc...)
By far better:
1. some online services (but I see, not alway wanted to give away sensitive data to elsewhere...
2. Able2Doc (not free, but was given away recently!)
3. since years my favorite (the best for me) and still available for free:
... first search "PDF to Word + Magnaways" and take
> http://pdfzuword-professional.softonic.de/
... second search "Magnus.de + PC-Magazin + Seriennummer" and take
> http://www.pc-magazin.de/ratgeber/freischaltcodes-fuer-heft-software-898723.html
there you find (since years!) the legal serial for "PDF2zuword" !
+ Better than all newer converters
+ legal and without fee
+ small(!) and fast(!)
o runs on Windows 7 correctly ONLY in compatibility mode!!!
- if I remember right(?) can only handle PDFs up to version 1.3
- has no built in OCR-Engine (but: what for most all of you DO already have such stuff from your AIO printer or your scanner... or use Online Services for this )
why alway newly invent the wheel...?

Simple installation and registration opens up to a very usable interface.
Tested on two documents both containing a mixture of text and graphics and the results were very pleasing.
Particularly liked the fact that the text was not put in little text boxes as many converters do and that the format of the document so faithfully retained., the speed of conversion was also very impressive.
This is certainly one of the better converters I have used and it's not a crazy price, sounds good!
