Project Dogwaffle (PD Howler) is a digital painting program with many pre-included brushes, art styles, paint effects and numerous special FX filters. PD Howler also includes a great number of tools for working on animations and video clips frame-by-frame or with keyframe interpolations. There are particle brushes that generate 3D shrubberies, trees and weeds and there is a set of tools for 3D landscape creation and realistic rendering. PD Howler doesn’t do everything imaginable but it’s a good collection of tools for working with graphic assets of many kinds: images, brushes, animations, and 3-D.
