A NOTE TO WHINERS AND COMPLAINERS
I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack, but in all the programs I've installed from GOTD, I can count on one hand how many times I've had a problem with install and registration - and still have two or three fingers left over.
It might help if you follow directions. And check your spam/junk folder too.
Also, It would be very nice if there was less complaining and more commentary on actual user experience with these giveaway programs.
If you must complain, complain to your dog. Amazingly, they'll still love you in spite of your miserable behavior.
I suggest giving up being serious. Laughter is a better way to go. Especially when you laugh at yourself for being so serious.

If you could enlighten me as to the wording of the comment of a happy and smiley nature suitable for a long wait for a non-arriving registration code please give an example.
Regarding evaluation of the program, you forgot to do yours. :D
I agree with NockH, and I think it's pretty sweet that this has a Photoshop CC 2015 extension! Can't wait to try that out. I do see Trinity's point though, and I don't like being forced to agree to a newsletter, I immediately set Gmail to discard all future emails from post.franzis.de.
I've used other Franzis photo editing software and appreciated it., its powerful and relatively straightforward to use, many presets are available with the options to do a lot of finer tweaking as well.
I don't get why it sucks to have the opportunity to try an older version for free when there are newer versions for sale. They are in the business of making a living from their software after all. I suggest taking the chance to get their software for free while you can.
Hi, this is my direct plea to FRANZIS Developer (if they follow what happens once any of their Projects is assigned to GOTD) - Could You please get rid of this 'stumbling block' in the shape of Registration Window appearing straight in the beginning of Your Software Installation - from which no one can take any steps further unless they are prepared to hang on for hours waiting for that code?? When that e-mail DOESN'T arrive neither in Inbox nor Spam box - all we get on numerous attempts to get back to Installation and click 'Internet' is this: 'Thank you very much for your registration - Your confirmation e-mail is on its way to you'.. NO IT IS NOT! After filling again password and clicking 'get your free code now' NOTHING happens either!
I have Account with FRANZIS and login into it and checking if perhaps that helps (staying logged in) makes any difference - I can tell you again: IT DOESN'T!
So, there is no way one can even look at, or have a feel of any of this Developer's Programs (including today's Giveaway) - even that on this Registration Form (stuck on my Desktop for well over 2 and half hrs now!) there is a line on the bottom that says 'later'.. Normally that means 'REGISTER LATER'??, but go ahead and install now to see what this unregistered Copy offers. Basically - 'by all means look and try this Software, post your observations, give feedback', register later on the day. To wrap it up - Here is my Gift to you, wait till I post you scissors to find out what i is, but feel free to thank me for it in a meantime!..

I looks promissing, and I like the idea. Be aware that this is an outdated version, which is no longer available to evaluate. They are on sale for this one for U$ 69.00, the latest version is version 3 and this one is U$ 129.00. Good deal, though, but it is not the price adversided here.
