This is a nice APP already given away several times in the past which does what it claims pretty smoothly and flawlessly!!

.... what happens if you lose the key license of this GAOTD due to a PC crash??

That's why, to update and backup the DRIVERS of your system, I highly recommend you using FREE TOOLS instead, which in some cases work even better than SHAREWARE like Driver Magician, for instance.

Yes....you head me right ==> you can update and backup your DRIVERS flawlessly and effectively without paying a dime, as long as you know the right tricks & tools of course!!

Now, to UPDATE the DRIVERS of your PC just download this pretty unknown GEM I came accross recently by chance:

I used it last week and guess what?? It detected a couple of outdated DRIVERS of my system that even the award-winning DRIVER GENIUS was not able to find. That's great, isn't it?

This FREE tool, unlike the other ones mentioned above, is able to update not only the DRIVERS of your system but also all PROGRAMS you already have installed in your PC with a couple of mouse clicks.

Then, once you have updated the DRIVERS of your PC, just use the Freeware DOUBLE DRIVER to backup them for future reference....and you are done dudes!!

Saw the same item as #1 but that was just as the program was opening and BEFORE running the ACTIVATE file. RUN the ACTIVATE file and it asks to unzip - I didn't do that and just chose RUN and it Activated just fine. Of couse like any good time dependant program it said it's database was "X" number of days out of date and was able to quickly complete update process.

It very quickly found AALL of the non-Microsoft drivers.

It found 10 updates for drivers I thought were all upto date, great. And when you pick each one it lists the driver information.

I wonder if this will allow going back to the previous driver if the updated one is not satisfactory?

Users should go to the website for the driver to see what the update changed. Not all updates are needed for everyones computing needs. If your computer is running stable - change mey not be a good thing.

Well, off course it's optional to fetch the newest drivers at the developers homepage, but that's not the average user's deal. In this case I have a good experience with Driver Magician, which have been given away before at GAOTD. Please just check, that the drivers, you renew is digitally signed, because weird persons find pleasure in uploading "homecooked" druver "enhancements", or even worse fakes, that can mess your machine up. I've never ever experienced that Driver Magician found one of those badies. Just remember to do a backup of all drivers, install one sectionn at the time,so you can roll back to the best one, if the accident happens. I hope, that I managed to write my review in a proper English/American, 'cause as you can see, it's not my native language. Late, but well meant Happy New Year to the users and the team behind GAOTD. Allways a pleasure to visit this fine community. Greetz from Denmark...
