I am surprised the votes are almost 50-50... People don't seem to test properly before voting.
And who stores passwords in a browser?
Anyone can hack a browser from a remote location, from your DNS, from your provider, from your home and so on. There is no full proof storage in your browser. Get real and do not store anything in your browser.
Apparently the idea that storing passwords in a browser is less secure than, say, a password manager is highly debatable these days: see comments on https://www.techrepublic.com/article/why-you-should-never-allow-your-web-browser-to-save-your-passwords.
bob, my thoughts exactly
I use Google exclusively. There is no password to get in. Top 10 browsers??? Why use anything but Google. I stay as far away from anything that says Microsoft.
Why use anything but Google?
Perhaps because you're concerned for your privacy and are not happy about your info being stolen by a company that never asked for permission?
I use Firefox. It does have issues (as does every other browser) but they are not trying to steal all my data and sell it to advertisers and who knows who else. Your post is ridiculous.
The program really delivers what it promises. I don't usually register passwords in any browser, but I did one testing and found that the software shows not only the path as well as the password. It's a double-edged sword. In hands
alien and unscrupulous is a danger.
