noticed a provision in their EULA we have to agree to just to install the program.... I hope if they do in fact call home with usage data that they provide an option to decline such spying on our downloads. Some of our downloads may be private URLs given to us under a None Disclosure Agreement and if that usage is share with a software developer it could breach the NDA!

I had this software or similar to it 5-10 years back and it was necessary and must have software. Today not so much, the Internet download speeds are 10 times faster than just few years ago. By the time I put the download site into a que, it was done in few seconds or by the time you type or paste the link into it, it is already done. Unless you are downloading huge HD movies several at a time, this software will not speed the download time. I've noticed, it is much faster to download one thing at a time than to time slice the downloads on big number of downloads. Another question is, why we must download everything at once, what is the purpose, surfing the web and watching videos on the screen at the same time when downloading, will slow down everything to a point where the mouse cursor will start making indications of slow speed and run in a circles in the middle of the screen.

After Installation, when putting the reg key, the prog says that the prog is not connected to internet and cant be registered....

Does it only support HTTP and HTTPS URLs or does it support Universal Resource Locator (URL) protocols like ftp:// rtsp:// etc?
