Postings like #1 invariabely turn up here at every offering of Ashampoo. Regardless of how often others like me point out the solution. It's quite simple, but you must be able to read and click. And all of you can do that.

Todays giveaway is NOT Ashampoo Slideshow Studio HD 2. It`s Ashampoo Slideshow Studio 2013. The best output resolution of slideshow is 720x384 pixels. Rather dissapointing.
Any software to organise your digital photographs is always good software - as digital cameras make it easier and easier to take photos, it becomes harder and harder to successfully show off the good ones.
Although Ashampoo software is usually well laid out and works well, it can be bloaty and not provide the full level of control professionals require. It tries to balance between power and comfortable for non-professionals, but doesn't always get it right - not enough control and too 'Fisher Price' in the user interface.
Bear in mind too that by signing up for the activation key, you are signing up to several newsletters, promotions, more offers, and every campaign imaginable. Please use a disposable email address (eg Guerrilla Mail) to save your sanity. Clicking 'Unsubscribe' may remove you from one mailing list, but you'll literally be on several and have to remove from each one individually.
Overall, good software and worth a look, but be prepared to be disappointed in the lack of fine control.
@ XP-Man, "... like myself they have unsuccessfully unsubscribed on many occasions."
In that case: log in to your account at Ashampoo, change your mail address into a 33mail.com-address and after you are done, de-activate the 33mail-address the very first time Ashampoo mails you on that address.
I used this approach to help a friend to get rid of his Linked In account. He still has it, but will never see a mail of them again.
Ashampoo é ashampoo..... 10.
