Read nothing in requirements that this required ITUNES. Thought was program to transfer stuff from my devices to pc, or vice versa. Should have known would be first thing asking for. Guess I'll be hitting the delete button. ( it did download fine though)
If it does not do transfer to device from pc, it is useless. I use Tunesgo retro from Wondershare, and iTransfer from Leawo. It works both ways; device to pc and pc to device.
Coolmuster does what it says. Way over priced though for the very limited functionality it offers. A far better product that provides much greater utility, for a considerably lower cost, is iMazing by DigiDNA.
BTW, neither Coolmuster nor iMazing require itunes to work. Both programs do, however, require that Apple Mobile and Bonjour services be installed on the PC to be able to communicate with the iDevice. Installing itunes just happens to be the easiest way to install these required services on the PC.

Programs like this do not need iTunes, but do need the drivers. I use iFunbox for transfers between my Windows PC and my iOS devices. The drivers can be obtained here: http://www.copytrans.net/support/install-iphone-ipod-touch-and-ipad-drivers-without-installing-itunes/
I feel about iTunes are pretty much the same as Steve Jobs felt about Flash!! It will never be on my computer.
